Dede Macias, a seasoned clinical operations professional and RN by training, started Exact Clinical Resarch in 2004 with the vision of building an exceptional team of consultants who could provide clinical trial expertise tailered to the needs of small biotech companies in the San Diego area. Over the years the scope of services and Sponsors who contracted with Exact expanded, and the team supported a multitude of companies conducting early to late stage clincial trials across the globe, spanning a wide range of indications. Dede retired in early 2024, but she continues to be available to the Exact management team as an important advisor as the company continues to grow and flourish.
