Shaily brings over 30 years of expertise in pharmaceutical drug development, having held key positions at leading companies such as Genentech, Oculex, Cerimon, True North and Vaxart. Her roles have spanned Regulatory Affairs, Clinical Development & Operations, and Project Management, with responsibilities steadily increasing over time. She has extensive experience managing early- to late-stage clinical programs across a wide range of therapeutic areas, including infectious diseases, vaccines, oncology, ophthalmology, gastrointestinal conditions, pain, and addiction. Most recently, Shaily has focused on leading clinical development and operations for small biotech and pharmaceutical companies.

In addition to her corporate roles, Shaily is a seasoned consultant and advisor. In 2000, she founded Milestone Clinical Research, a specialty consulting firm that supports biotech start-ups by providing access to experienced clinical and regulatory professionals to accelerate their development programs. Over the years, she collaborated with Exact Clinical Research, managing global clinical programs, and is now excited to lead the Exact team as they continue to expand their reach and services.

Shaily holds a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of California, Davis, and is certified in drug development, with credentials including PMP, CCRA, and RAC.
